Avail accepts the following items as material donations:

  • Baby clothing (preemie through–3T) 

  • Maternity clothing – new or gently used (this includes nursing bras)

  • Diapers

  • Wipes

  • Formula

  • Blankets

  • Bottles, pacifiers, teething toys, sippy cups

  • Baby carriers

  • Boppy pillows

  • Baby swings, rockers, bouncy chairs

  • Infant bathtubs

  • Toys and books (for babies and children through age 3) 

  • High chairs

  • Bassinets 

  • New Breast pumps 

  • Baby monitors

  • Bottle warmers

Avail does not accept the following items:

  • Cribs (or Pack-n-Plays)

  • Car Seats

  • Strollers

  • Sleep positioners

  • Walkers with wheels

  • Crib bumper pads

  • Any items that have been subject to recall

  • Stuffed animals

  • Used Breast Pumps

We are so grateful for material donations that go directly to meeting the essential needs of clients and their families. 

We ask that all items be new or gently used and in good condition. Clothing items should be washed before donating. Please call or email to schedule a drop-off date and time (212-689-1705 or support@availnyc.org). We are happy to provide you with a donation receipt. If you don't live in the NYC area but still want to support our clients at our headquarters and across the country with material donations, please contact us.
